Diana Crângașu specialises in European and national competition law, state aid regulations and foreign investment matters. She is recognized by legal publications, including The Legal 500 for EU& Competition (2023).

Her expertise extends to advising clients in both non-contentious and contentious matters, particularly in acquisitions and joint ventures, cartels, abuse proceedings, compliance programmes, distribution and licensing arrangements across a wide range of industry sectors.

She coordinated multi-jurisdictional competition filings in Romania and other jurisdictions such as Germany, Turkey, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Serbia.

She works with companies across diverse sectors including consumer goods, retail, finance, insurance, energy, IT, telecommunications, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, media, agriculture, automotive, courier, and construction.

Prior to founding Crangasu Legal, she worked for 17 years with a Magic Circle firm, where she led the competition practice of the Bucharest office, working closely with other offices such as those in Paris, London, Brussels, Frankfurt, Washington or Beijing. For 3 years, she was a co-founding partner to a competition law boutique in Romania.
